What is that thing on the little cubical table?

[identity profile] gammagammahey.livejournal.com 2007-12-02 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
Bob appears to have a blowdryer hanging on his wall. Do my eyes deceive me, or is that a blowdryer?

[identity profile] gammagammahey.livejournal.com 2007-12-02 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
Bob, are you one of these guys that reads Allure and uses facial scrub? I thought you were one of these effortlessly handsome types.

[identity profile] gammagammahey.livejournal.com 2007-12-02 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
You've got quite the Space Age Bachelor Pad, Bob. Why is it that guys can have toys in their bedroom and it's considered totally appropriate, but if a girl has a teddy bear on her bed, guys run in terror?

Me, I have a Thor plushie to snuggle up with.

Either that or a raygun. Or possibly both.

[identity profile] gammagammahey.livejournal.com 2007-12-02 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
Or both. Don't laugh, Enzo. "Multiuse" is a design imperative where I'm from!

[identity profile] buongiornodaisy.livejournal.com 2007-12-02 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
To the cats: why the life of a hobo? Surely with your good looks, charm, and wit, you'd make it big in comics pictures!

[identity profile] kittehnpip.livejournal.com 2007-12-02 04:58 am (UTC)(link)

For Bob: what was your family like? Your mother obviously raised you right, since you seem to approve of strongwilled green women.

[identity profile] l33t-mouse.livejournal.com 2007-12-02 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
...I didn't say nothin'! *looks innocent, sort of*

[identity profile] gammagammahey.livejournal.com 2007-12-02 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
But it's so fun to make them blush. Or, in Bob's case, turn navy. Me, I get a nice deep kelly green when someone can actually tell me a dirty enough joke.
a1enzo: (Alphanumeric!)

[personal profile] a1enzo 2007-12-02 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
Actually, he blushes lavender. *snicker*

[identity profile] gammagammahey.livejournal.com 2007-12-02 06:50 am (UTC)(link)
Does he now. Okay, Enzo, give up the goods: let's team up and make him blush violet.

[identity profile] gammagammahey.livejournal.com 2007-12-02 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
Smart men have strong, opinionated women for mothers. I've found this to hold true in at least seventeen different universes. They also wind up having exceedingly good taste in women, if they're so inclined.

I haven't been home schooled, but my dad's a Sheriff in Los Angeles County. He is The Law. As you can imagine, that put a crimp in my dating life in high school.

LOLcats!

Dominic: We haven't met in-game, but memes mean I get munknowledge!

So -- is there any reliable way you've found for interpreting the metaphors in precognitive dreams so that they're useful more than two minutes before the even they're predicting occurs?

I mean, as satisfying as that click when it all falls into place is, it'd be nice if it came a little earlier.

[identity profile] grumpyseer.livejournal.com 2007-12-02 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
I'll tell you what I told my students (http://www.dominic-deegan.com/view.php?date=2007-01-05): If a vision seems cryptic, it's because you don't have enough information yet. In order to be a successful seer, you have to study everything, from history to geography to psychology. You never know what will come in handly later.

*amused face* Helpful, if frustrating. You really are a precog.

Osaka: which of your friends would you most like to see show up in the bar?

Bob: if Hiro could guarantee your safety going through his door into the Metaverse, would you go?

Twoie: who gets eaten first? last?

[identity profile] shikkari.livejournal.com 2007-12-03 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Um. I dunno. I told Chiyo-chan and Tomo-chan about Milliways, but they thought I was making it up. Or I dreamed it. Maybe I am just dreaming it. I don't know.

I guess Yukari-sensei would like it here. She likes going to bars.

Bob: Can I come stay with you guys for a while?

Dominic: Things are looking not-so-good back home. Any Advice?

I can't guarantee I won't be boring. But I'll do my best to fill the void for a while.

...Does this mean you'll show me what jetballing is?

[identity profile] grumpyseer.livejournal.com 2007-12-07 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
I won't pretend that I understood all, or even most, of what I've seen in the future for you. All I can say is to remember what you've learned, both in Milliways and at home, and know that you are not helpless.
